The Singlecote is a small very friendly family run guesthouse, which prides its self with a relaxing and informal atmosphere, The guesthouse holds a Visit Britain 3 Star Guesthouse Rating.
Your hosts Mark and Sheila will take the greatest care to make your stay is as enjoyable as possible, and provide a service that is flexible and accommodating to your needs.
The Singlecote is open all year round and has 2 single, 5 double, 1 twin and 2 family rooms, all rooms are en-suite, with 1 family room having a bath.
Residents staying in the Singlecote can enjoy excellent home cooking from the full English breakfast to the 3 course evening meal, these are cooked by your host Sheila who has extensive experience in the catering trade, from her 12 years cooking in the Army where she won many awards, to catering in care homes. All our meals are made with local produce (where possible) and are cooked on the premises and presented to a high standard.
We have a small licensed bar that is well stocked and very well priced that is open to all our guest's.
The Singlecote has car parking for up to 5 cars which is on a first come first served basis.
Small Dogs are welcome at The Singlecote by prior arrangement (no dogs are to be left unattended in the guesthouse).

The Singlecote is situated a stones throw away from the main shopping centre, the amusements, embassy theatre and the beach.
The Singlecote is in easy walking distance or short taxi ride from the train station and the coach station, even if you have all those bags we tend to take on holiday with us.
